Stray Animal Information

TCAS accepts stray dogs and livestock, as well as sick and injured cats from the unincorporated areas of Tulare County. We do not accept healthy cats for intake but please ask about our trap, neuter, return programs.  If you are bringing in a stray animal to the shelter, please click on the link below to fill out information on the animal you found along with your contact information.  This will speed up the intake process once you arrive at the shelter.  Shelter hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm (Closed Sundays and Holidays).  Shelter staff will verify your information by checking your Driver’s License or other form of ID.  Please let staff know when you arrive that you completed the stray animal form online.  You also have the option of remaining in your vehicle and calling the shelter at (559) 636-4050 x 0 to have a staff member come out to your vehicle to pick up the animal.

If the animal was found inside the city limits of Dinuba, Exeter, Farmersville, Lindsay, Porterville, Tulare, Visalia or Woodlake, please contact your local Animal Control instead of filling out this form.  Thank you.
